At Sheehy Auto Stores, community impact has always been a core part of our mission. On May 1, 2025, Sheehy Ford of Ashland, in collaboration with Ford Motor Company, proudly brought that mission to life by donating a 2023 Ford Transit Cargo Van, a VCMII Diagnostic Tool, and a license to access the Ford FDRS database to the Caroline County Public Schools’ Automotive Program.
The donation ceremony took place at Caroline High School’s Automotive Classroom Shop and highlighted the ongoing commitment to preparing students for rewarding careers in the automotive industry. Attendees included school officials, dealership representatives, and members of the local community—all gathered to celebrate this impactful educational partnership.
“This donation was more than just a vehicle—it provided a hands-on opportunity for our students to train on modern technology and become better prepared for the workforce,” said Kristina Sanders, Work-Based Learning Coordinator at Caroline High School. “We are incredibly grateful to Sheehy Ford of Ashland and Ford Motor Company for investing in our students’ futures.”
This initiative was part of Ford’s Automotive Career Exploration (ACE) Program, which supports technical education across the country. Sheehy Ford of Ashland actively participated in this program by not only donating resources but also hosting and hiring students as automotive apprentices and externs, helping bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world experience.
The service team, led by Moe Kiely, Director of Parts and Service at Sheehy Ford of Ashland, played a key role in making this donation possible and ensuring that students had access to industry-relevant tools and mentorship.
