As the countdown to the new school year begins, Sheehy Auto Stores is proud to once again rally behind our local students, teachers, and schools with our Annual School Supply Drive, running from Monday, July 28 to Monday, August 11.
At 30 Sheehy dealerships across Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., we’re collecting brand-new school supplies to help ensure every child in our community starts the year confident and prepared.
Why? Because we believe a strong start to the school year begins with strong community support.
“We believe that a strong start to the school year begins with strong community support,” said Vince Sheehy, President of Sheehy Auto Stores. “This annual effort is one small way we can help ensure that every student heads back to class ready to learn and grow.”
What We’re Collecting:
We’re welcoming donations of new, unused supplies including:
- Backpacks
- Paper (lined, copy, construction, notebooks)
- Writing tools (#2 pencils, pens, crayons, markers, highlighters)
- Classroom essentials (folders, glue sticks, rulers, calculators)
- Hygiene items (tissues, hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes)
Whether it’s one item or a full backpack, every donation makes a difference.
Where to Donate:
Donations can be dropped off at any of our Sheehy Auto Stores locations across the Mid-Atlantic region—including dealerships in Richmond, Northern Virginia, Fredericksburg, Annapolis, and Hagerstown.

Let’s Make This Year Brighter—Together
At Sheehy, we’ve always believed that our stores are more than just places to buy a vehicle—they’re part of the communities we serve. By supporting local students and teachers, we’re investing in a better, stronger future for everyone.
We invite you to stop by, drop off supplies, and join us in driving real impact—from showroom to schoolroom.
