That’s why Sheehy GMC of Fredericksburg teamed up with Pete’s Barbershop to help local students start the school year looking and feeling their best.
On Saturday, August 8, the two local businesses came together at Pete’s Barbershop in Fredericksburg to offer free back-to-school haircuts and meals to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
A Fresh Look for a New School Year
Throughout the event, students had the opportunity to receive complimentary haircuts on a first-come, first-served basis. Each participating child could also enjoy a free meal from the food truck on-site, providing families with a little extra support as they prepared for the upcoming school year.
For students, heading back to the classroom is about more than new backpacks and school supplies. It’s about reconnecting with friends, meeting new teachers, and feeling ready to take on whatever the year brings.
