Sheehy Toyota of Laurel Donates $25,000 to Support Local Food Pantry

Sheehy Toyota of Laurel proudly continued its commitment to community support with a $25,000 donation to Laurel Advocacy and Referral Services, Inc. (LARS)—marking the fourth consecutive year of partnership with the local nonprofit.

Shannon R. Mouton, Executive Director of LARS, accepted the check on behalf of the organization. Based in Central Maryland, LARS provides critical services to homeless and low-income individuals and families, helping them meet immediate needs and work toward long-term stability.

The donation from Sheehy Toyota of Laurel directly supports LARS’ food pantry, a vital program that serves hundreds of local residents. While LARS receives some grant funding to offset food expenses, the organization still faces a significant shortfall—spending nearly $100,000 annually to keep the pantry running. The contribution from Sheehy Toyota of Laurel helps bridge that gap and ensures more families in need have access to nutritious meals.

We’re incredibly proud of the Sheehy Toyota of Laurel team for their ongoing commitment to giving back and making a meaningful impact in the local community. This donation is not just a financial contribution—it’s a reflection of the dealership’s strong values and deep-rooted dedication to service.
