At Sheehy Subaru, giving back is more than a commitment. It is a core part of the Subaru Love Promise and a reflection of our dedication to supporting the communities we serve. Through the Subaru Loves to Help initiative, Sheehy Subaru stores across the region continue to partner with local nonprofit organizations to provide essential resources, support children and families in need, and create meaningful community impact.
This year’s efforts brought together Sheehy Subaru of Hagerstown, Sheehy Subaru of Springfield, and Sheehy Subaru of Fredericksburg, each working alongside trusted local partners to address critical needs and improve the lives of children throughout their communities.
Supporting Children and Families in Hagerstown
Sheehy Subaru of Hagerstown partnered with CASA, Inc. to provide critical resources to children and families throughout Washington County.
Through a contribution valued at $3,300, the dealership helped supply essential items for 132 children, focusing on the most urgent needs identified by the organization. CASA’s advocacy and support services play an important role in promoting safety, stability, and opportunity for youth and families facing challenging circumstances.
By supporting CASA’s mission, Sheehy Subaru of Hagerstown helped ensure that local children have access to the resources they need to thrive.
Providing Stability and Support in Northern Virginia
In Northern Virginia, Sheehy Subaru of Springfield partnered with Second Story, an organization dedicated to helping youth experiencing crisis, homelessness, and housing instability.
Through a $5,100 contribution, the dealership helped provide essential items to 204 children and young people. Working closely with Second Story to identify the organization’s most pressing needs allowed the donation to make an immediate and meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable youth.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to providing stability, support, and opportunities for young people as they work toward brighter futures.
Helping Children Stay Warm in Fredericksburg
Sheehy Subaru of Fredericksburg focused its efforts on ensuring local children had access to warmth and comfort during the winter season through a partnership with Stafford Junction.
As part of the initiative, 132 children received brand-new winter coats valued at $3,300. For children experiencing housing instability or financial hardship, something as simple as a warm winter coat can make a significant difference in their daily lives.
The donation helped provide comfort, confidence, and protection during colder months, allowing children to participate in school and everyday activities with dignity.
The Power of Community Partnerships
These local efforts are part of the broader Subaru Loves to Help initiative, a key pillar of the Subaru Love Promise that focuses on addressing critical community needs through meaningful nonprofit partnerships.
By working alongside organizations that understand the unique challenges facing local families, Sheehy Subaru stores can help ensure resources reach those who need them most. These partnerships create opportunities to make a tangible difference while strengthening the communities we proudly serve.
Making a Lasting Impact Together
The combined efforts of Sheehy Subaru of Hagerstown, Sheehy Subaru of Springfield, and Sheehy Subaru of Fredericksburg demonstrate the power of local action and collective support.
Whether providing essential supplies, supporting youth in crisis, or helping children stay warm during the winter months, each initiative reflects a shared commitment to compassion, community, and service.
We are grateful to our nonprofit partners, team members, and community supporters who helped make these efforts possible. Together, we are creating positive change and helping children and families build stronger, brighter futures.
Because when communities come together, meaningful impact follows.
