Sheehy GMC and Subaru of Fredericksburg are proud to continue their commitment to making a meaningful difference in the Fredericksburg community through a recent $4,000 donation to Empowerhouse, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence and their families.
Empowerhouse is a Virginia-accredited 501(c)(3) domestic violence program that has served Fredericksburg and the surrounding counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania, and Stafford for 37 years. The organization provides critical resources and life-changing support through a wide range of services designed to help individuals and families find safety, stability, and hope.
These services include a confidential emergency shelter, 24-hour crisis hotline, victim advocacy, children’s services, support groups for victims and youth, Spanish-language and culturally relevant programs, transitional housing assistance, court advocacy, healthcare accompaniment, teen dating violence prevention programs, and batterer intervention services.
The $4,000 contribution from Sheehy GMC and Subaru of Fredericksburg directly supports Empowerhouse’s mission to empower survivors of domestic violence and their children to rebuild their lives with dignity, respect, safety, and hope. Donations like this help ensure that individuals and families facing crisis have access to both immediate protection and long-term support.
This year also marks the third consecutive year that Sheehy GMC and Subaru of Fredericksburg have partnered with Empowerhouse, reflecting the dealerships’ continued dedication to strengthening and uplifting the communities they serve.
At Sheehy, giving back isn’t just something we do — it’s part of who we are. We’re honored to support organizations like Empowerhouse that create real, lasting impact for our neighbors and help build stronger communities for everyone.
