At Sheehy Auto Stores, leadership is about more than titles—it’s about growth, opportunity, and empowering people to reach their full potential. In December 2024, Sheehy proudly launched the Sheehy Women Leaders Program, a transformative initiative designed to uplift women across the organization and support their pursuit of long-term, meaningful careers in the automotive industry.
Developed in partnership with an outside Executive Coach who specializes in women’s leadership development, the program was thoughtfully created to address the unique challenges and opportunities women face in a traditionally male-dominated field. Through a carefully structured one-year curriculum, participants engaged in a blend of virtual learning and in-person sessions, focusing on leadership presence, strategic thinking, confidence building, communication, and career advancement.
The inaugural class welcomed 21 talented women from across the Sheehy organization, each bringing diverse experiences, perspectives, and aspirations. Over the course of the year, these women built strong professional connections, sharpened their leadership skills, and gained tools to help them grow not only within their current roles, but into future leadership positions.
On November 6, Sheehy Auto Stores proudly celebrated the graduation of the first-ever Sheehy Women Leaders Program class—a milestone that represents both personal achievement for the graduates and a powerful step forward in Sheehy’s ongoing commitment to inclusion, development, and leadership excellence.
