Sheehy Toyota of Fredericksburg Donates $1,000 to SAWs Virginia to Support Accessibility for Those in Need

Sheehy Toyota of Fredericksburg is proud to support Servants at Work (SAWs) Virginia with a $1,000 donation to help further their mission of building life-changing wheelchair ramps for individuals with long-term mobility challenges.

SAWs Virginia, a nonprofit, constructs custom-designed wooden wheelchair ramps for people who are impoverished and living with ambulatory disabilities. Their work restores freedom, independence, and dignity—allowing individuals to safely access medical care, reconnect with their communities, and continue living independently in their homes.

As the number of older adults and disabled individuals continues to rise, the need for mobility solutions is growing. In the SAWs Virginia service area alone, over 10,000 individuals could potentially qualify for a ramp. Yet, with limited income and restricted access to resources, many face isolation and difficulty simply leaving their homes.

The contribution from Sheehy Toyota of Fredericksburg will help SAWs Virginia continue their essential work—bringing independence and hope to those who need it most.

At Sheehy, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve. We’re honored to support an organization that’s making such a tangible difference in people’s lives.
