For the second year in a row, Sheehy Auto Stores enthusiastically participated in the Virginia Department of Health’s Emergency Preparedness Cook-off! As part of our contribution, we provided attendees with valuable recommendations for essential items they should keep in their car in case of emergencies. These recommendations included a jump kit, bottled water, road cones, and basic tools for when the car decides to enter damsel in distress mode. We emphasized the importance of being prepared for any unexpected situation while on the road, and our booth attracted a lot of interest from participants eager to enhance their emergency preparedness.
The cook-off itself was a huge hit, bringing together a diverse group of competitors who showcased their culinary skills by preparing the best chili. We had a ton of fun watching the creative and delicious chili variations that the competitors came up with. The event not only highlighted the importance of emergency preparedness but also fostered a sense of community and shared enjoyment. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we look forward to participating again next year!
