Caroline County Partners in Education Panel
On behalf of Sheehy Ford of Ashland, Moe Kiely and Jeremiah Mongold were invited to speak at the Caroline County Partners in Education event as panelists. The panel focused on how work-based learning opportunities are preparing students for careers in the trades—particularly in the automotive sector.
Sheehy Ford of Ashland was honored as a founding sponsor of the STARS Trade Academy, the career and technical education program that houses Caroline High School’s automotive training initiative. Moe and Jeremiah shared how the program has allowed students to gain valuable hands-on shop experience while earning high school credit, providing a head start in their professional journeys.
Louisa County High School Signing Day
Earlier this year, Sheehy Ford of Ashland proudly welcomed Beau Covington as a full-time team member after he graduated early from Louisa County High School. To celebrate Beau’s outstanding accomplishment, Moe Kiely and Chris Burns, our shop foreman, attended Signing Day at the high school.
The event recognized Beau’s commitment to his career in automotive service, and we were honored to be there as he officially signed on to join the Sheehy team. In the photos from the ceremony, Beau is joined by his mother, April, and sister, Sadie, both of whom were present for this special moment.
Beau’s early graduation and immediate transition into a full-time role highlight the success of our local partnerships and the impact of programs that support career readiness in high school.
