On February 18th, Sheehy Subaru of Hagerstown hosted “Pasta for a Purpose,” a heartfelt event dedicated to supporting our team member, Maria, during a difficult time. From 1 PM to 3 PM, the community came together in a spirit of generosity and camaraderie, sharing a delicious pasta spread that brought everyone closer.
Attendees enjoyed a variety of pasta dishes, all prepared with love, while also having the opportunity to win raffle prizes generously donated by local businesses and organizations. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, filled with laughter and conversation, as friends, family, and community members united for a common cause.
To participate, we requested a minimum donation of $10 at entry, which included access to the pasta feast. For those looking to enhance their chances of winning, additional $5 donations provided extra raffle tickets. We also encouraged guests to RSVP in advance, offering them an additional raffle ticket for their early commitment. This not only helped us prepare enough food for everyone but also fostered a sense of community spirit.
The event was more than just about enjoying great food; it was a powerful demonstration of solidarity and support for Maria. Seeing so many familiar faces come together to lend a hand was truly heartwarming. The contributions made during the event had a meaningful impact, showcasing the strength of our community when it rallies around one of its own.
We are thrilled to report that, thanks to the overwhelming support and generosity of everyone who attended, we raised a remarkable total of $2,485. This incredible achievement would not have been possible without the kindness and dedication of our attendees, donors, and local partners.
