Since 2018, we have proudly partnered with Empower House, helping support its mission of providing safety, stability, and hope to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.
This year’s donation continues that longstanding partnership and reinforces our shared dedication to creating a stronger, safer Fredericksburg community.
Supporting Critical Services for Families in Need
For years, Empower House has served as a vital resource for individuals facing domestic violence and housing instability. Through a comprehensive range of programs and services, the organization helps survivors and their families find safety, rebuild their lives, and move forward with confidence.
Empower House’s services include emergency shelter and basic needs assistance, housing stability and rapid re-housing programs, a 24-hour crisis hotline with advocacy support, counseling and support groups, children’s services, and prevention and community education initiatives. These programs provide both immediate assistance and long-term support for those navigating difficult circumstances.
Through its work, Empower House continues to create life-changing opportunities for individuals and families throughout the Fredericksburg region.

The recent check presentation brought together representatives from both organizations, highlighting the strong partnership that has developed over the years.

They were joined by Kathy Anderson, Executive Director of Empower House, and Susan Sigmon, Justice Service Director.
